Les Papilles

I came here for their special lunch, which is three courses and changes every day based on what the chef feels like serving. When you come for lunch, you have no choice about what you get, so I wouldn't recommend coming if you have dietary restrictions. Everything they served us was unbelievable. The highlight was definitely the main course, which was an amazing stew which had been cooking for hours and had the most tender meat I've ever tasted. It was so good, I couldn't stop eating-- to the point where I wasn't hungry for dinner. The appetizer and dessert were also superb. The atmosphere is also nice-- they have bottles of wine and various spreads all around the walls. They have a great selection of unique wines and they'll help you choose one that goes well with your meal. If I remember correctly, the lunch was 35 euros per person, which were some of the best 35 euros I spent the whole 5 months I was in Paris. It was a truly special experience that I will never forget, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for delicious, traditional French food in a rustic but comfortable atmosphere.
