our special treat
My wife and I love Paris, but do not get there very often as we live in the USA. On our recent trip, we decided to treat ourselves to a special meal/event. We picked Guy Savoy and were treated to a kaleidoscope of flavors, well paired and deftly presented. Mssr. Savoy graciously approached each table throughout the evening. The waitstaff were skilled, discreet and very accommodating. Our meals did not disappoint. The amuse bouche were delightful, starting with the foie gras and ending with citrus ice and dark chocolate noissette. Value is difficult to rate: would we do this again--certainly; would we do this repeatedly--not able to afford it. We knew this event would be expensive. We were well rewarded with the food, ambiance, service and attention of Guy Savoy.
